Tiger 3 is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language action thriller film directed by Maneesh Sharma from a screenplay by Shridhar Raghavan and Anckur Chaudhry and a story by producer Aditya Chopra. Produced and distributed by Yash Raj Films, it is a sequel to Ek Tha Tiger (2012) and Tiger Zinda Hai (2017) and is the fifth installment in the YRF Spy Universe. It stars Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, and Emraan Hashmi.
Principal photography began in March 2021 and was completed in May 2023, with filming locations including Delhi, Mumbai, Istanbul, Saint Petersburg, and Vienna. The film’s soundtrack was composed by Pritam. With an estimated production budget of up to ₹300 crore, it is the most expensive Yash Raj film.
Tiger 3 is set to be released in standard, IMAX, 4DX and other premium formats first internationally on November 11, 2023, and in India a day later, coinciding with Diwali.
Premise:
Set after the events of Tiger Zinda Hai (2017), War (2019), and Pathaan (2023), Tiger and Zoya are framed for treason by a revenge seeking terrorist and go on a life-threatening crusade to clear their names.

Hritik Roshan and Shah Rukh Khan are set to make cameo appearances as Major Kabir Dhaliwal and Pathaan, respectively.
Production Development The film was officially announced by Yash Raj Films on 4 March 2022.
Casting:
Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif were confirmed to be returning, with Emraan Hashmi also signing onto the project, by February 2021.Ranvir Shorey was then also announced to return to the franchise after being absent in Tiger Zinda Hai. Vishal Jethwa joined the cast in October 2021, while Revathi and Riddhi Dogra were cast a month later. Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan will reprise their roles as Pathaan and Major Kabir Dhaliwal, respectively, in cameo appearances.
Filming:
Principal photography began in March 2021, in Delhi and Mumbai. Filming then took place in Turkey, including in Cappadocia and Istanbul, while a car chase sequence was shot in Saint Petersburg that August. Additional scenes were filmed in Austria in September. Filming resumed in India by February 2022, in New Delhi, and further action sequences were filmed in Mumbai in April 2023. Shah Rukh Khan’s cameo was filmed within a ten day schedule in Madh Island, where a large set was constructed for an action sequence. Principal photography concluded in May 2023.
Music:
The film’s soundtrack was composed by Pritam and Tanuj Tiku composed the score. The soundtrack’s first single, “Leke Prabhu Ka Naam”, was released on 23 October 2023, and its second single, “Ruaan”, was released on 6 November.
Release:
Tiger 3 was initially scheduled to be released on 21 April 2023 to coincide with Eid al-Fitr; it was then postponed to 11 November for international markets and 12 November in India, coinciding with Diwali.
